Munsonisms midweek update - Vacation was WAY too short!
The Munson’s are back from sunny Florida, which in all honesty was not all that sunny! The clan went down and stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando, and had a blast. Sunday and Monday were the two best days of the week weather wise, as the rest of the week was kinda overcast, rainy, and muggy. Here’s some pictures for you all to enjoy:
Here is the view of the Hard Rock Hotel from the pool, they have a poolside and a beach side…. this is obviously from the beachside…. hence the sand. This is where we spent all day on Sunday, soaking in the sun and swimming.
Best part of Pool day was the cabana we rented, where we were fed drinks all day and watched the Patriots whoop the Dolphin’s ass! This is me trying to set my fantasy football rosters by cell phone (it didn’t work out too well).
Monday we went to the Magic Kingdom, where the Halloween decorations were out in force:
And I bought my first set of Mickey ears, Pirates of the Caribbean style baby!
That look in my eyes is one of “Holy crap we have been here with screaming kids surrounding us for almost 12 hours! GET ME OUT OF HERE AND GET ME SOME ALCOHOL!” Which about 20 minutes or so after this picture was taken, we did. All in all, it was a great week that went by WAY too quick. Coming back home was nice, but I am still playing “catch-up” at work and at home, so regular programming (including a Milestone column) will come sometime next week. Enjoy the rest of the week, I have two weeks of comics to read and I can hear them calling me right now!
