Who IS the Munson?

Welcome one and all to the new Internet home of blogger extraordinaire Jeff Munson (A.K.A. MUNSON!).  Back in 2006 I used this same post title to announce my initial foray into the blogosphere and now I reuse it again to bring you the new and improved Munsonisms.com!  Here at Munsonisms central, your humble blog-master will bring you entertaining insights into the mind/ life/ hobbies of  the Munson.   This new site has been a long time coming, and with the help of the urban devourer of worlds Bahlactus who did the design work (it sure is purty!) my wish for a fully functioning blog has come true!  I love the look and functionality of this new site, and I hope you all dig it too!

Here at Munsonisms I will bring you such features as Milestone Mondays, my critically acclaimed (hey I count a mention at newsarama.com as acclaim!) column celebrating the comic catalog of Milestone Comics, which has truly been my primary Internet presence both at Bahlactus.com and at my old blog.   You can also count on my participation in Friday Night Fights every week, wherein myself and other comics bloggers step into the “Ring” and try to outdo each other by posting the best damn comic book throw-downs ever to hit the printed page.  You will also from time to time see me share my Tales from the Abyss, wherein I take you into the depths of my 162 long box (and counting) collection to show you just what great/scary comics a 35 year old with too much disposable income has accumulated over close to 27 years of collecting!   But comics won’t be the only thing I throw into this blog, you may read in my Munsonisms! columns my opinion on TV shows & movies I am currently digging on or even a look into my current activities.  Everything is up for grabs folks!

 So, with the details of Munsonisms.com out there for you all to ponder, I bet you’re wondering just how I am going to celebrate the opening of my new site.  Well I will tell you… by bringing you Milestone Mondays every day for a week as I cover the first ever crossover of the Milestone Universe - THE SHADOW WAR!!!  I have been waiting to get to this point chronologically in my Milestone reviews for some time, and since it’s a 7 part (1 prequel and 6 offical parts) story it fits into that whole 7 days in a week thing perfectly.  So, check back here on Monday October 1st for a weeklong celebration of Milestone comics as I kick the all new Munsonisms off in style!
